Misteri a Vulpera
On May 27, 1989, the legendary grand hotel Waldhaus in Vulpera fell victim to a fire. The “Misteri a Vulpera” smartphone app developed by Bandara brings it back to life: AR and AI allow you to travel back in time to 1908, to the golden years of spa tourism. Back then, Europe’s high society came to the Hotel Waldhaus to drink the water from the mineral springs around Vulpera.
Using augmented reality, the Waldhaus appears exactly where it stood back then. And with the help of artificial intelligence, users can immerse themselves in the microcosm of the grand hotel and talk to hotel employees and villagers.
Because there is a mystery to solve: The hotel guest Henry Wells has disappeared. With the “Misteri a Vulpera” app, players can set off in search of him – and discover the mystery surrounding Vulpera’s mineral water. With this new offer, Engadin Scuol Zernez Tourism is providing an exciting experience for its guests and bringing the topic of mineral water to life in an innovative way.
