“Look behind the scenes of Herzog & de Meuron and immerse yourself in one of the most revered architecture practices in the world.”

This is how Herzog & de Meuron’s exhibition at the Royal Academy London is announced. Together with the team at H&dM, we developed an augmented reality app that enhances the exhibition with digital content and lets visitors experience Herzog & de Meuron’s architecture in a novel way. For example with 360° images, with 3D models of buildings such as the Elbphilharmonie – or with a walk-in 1:1 model of a room of the new Zurich Children’s Hospital.

From its opening on July 17 to August 23, the app was downloaded 5,940 times (including 5,115 iOS and 825 Android downloads). The exhibition will continue until October 15.
