Virtual Tour «EV Lengg»

Construction work has begun on a joint energy network in the Lengg neighbourhood of Zurich. This means that several properties will no longer have individual boilers and will instead be supplied with energy via a huge, 3.5 kilometre-long network. In this innovative large-scale project, water from a depth of 30 metres from Lake Zurich will be used to heat and cool the nearby institutes of the Lengg health cluster in an environmentally friendly way in future.

At the heart of this energy network is the Lengg control centre, which is being built under the «Wässerig Wiese» in Zollikon. As this imposing building with several storeys below ground cannot be visited, we have made it possible for Energie 360° to experience the building as a 3D model in a virtual tour.

On the web-based tour, visitors can discover the underground structure and learn more about the large-scale project via information hotspots.
